The Best PC Setup and Specs for Gaming in 2027: Builds for the 10 Biggest Games
The best gaming PC for 2027 depends on which games you actually want to play. This guide covers the 10 most anticipated PC games due between November 2026 and the end of 2027. For each one you get the official or expected PC system requirements, the build we recommend, its price in US dollars and euros, and the official trailer. GTA 6 comes first, then Metro 2039, Squadron 42, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Exodus, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Lords of the Fallen II, Kingdom Hearts IV, Resident Evil Veronica and Fable, ordered from the most expensive build to the cheapest. One warning up front: graphics cards and memory cost far more than they did a year ago, and this guide uses real prices, not launch prices.
Prices were checked in late October 2026. US prices come from Amazon and Newegg listings as reported by Tom’s Hardware and ComputingForGeeks. Euro prices for graphics cards, processors, memory and SSDs come from German price comparisons reported by PC Games Hardware and Configury, and include VAT. Euro prices marked with * are our estimates for parts without a checked price. Specs labelled Official come from the publisher. Specs labelled Expected are our estimate, based on the studio’s previous PC game and the console versions. We will update this page as publishers release official requirements.

Key takeaways
- The sweet spot for 2027 is a 1440p build with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT or Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti, a Ryzen 7 X3D processor and 32GB of DDR5. It costs about $2,400 / €2,350 and comfortably beats the recommended specs of most games on this list.
- GTA 6 is console-only at launch on November 19, 2026. Rockstar has not announced a PC version. A GamesBeat report says it could arrive in early 2027, but that is unconfirmed, and so are any GTA 6 PC requirements you see online.
- Metro 2039 will require a ray tracing graphics card. 4A Games confirmed it. Older cards without hardware ray tracing will not run it.
- 32GB of RAM is the new standard. Several 2027 games list 16GB as the minimum, so 16GB only makes sense on a tight budget.
- Storage needs are huge. Final Fantasy VII Revelation needs about 200GB on its own, so buy at least a 2TB NVMe SSD.
- Prices are high. Popular graphics cards sell for 30% to 85% above launch price, and a 32GB DDR5 kit costs around $450 / €447.

| Fable | Feb 23, 2027 | Official | Entry 1080p | $1,300 | €1,200 |

Price of the build we recommend for each game, in US dollars and euros, using late October 2026 prices. Three of the ten games run well on the $2,400 / €2,350 1440p build.
The five PC builds for 2027, with prices in USD and EUR
Every game in this guide maps to one of these five builds. All five use an AM5 motherboard, so you can upgrade the processor later without replacing the board. None includes Windows, a monitor or peripherals.
Ultra 4K build: about $7,100 / €8,650
For 4K at the highest settings with full ray tracing. The RTX 5090 is the fastest gaming graphics card you can buy, and right now it is also very hard to find at a sensible price: US listings range from about $3,500 to more than $7,000, so we use $5,000 as a typical price.
| Part | Pick | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 32GB | $5,000 | €6,699 |
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D | $449 | €395 |
| Motherboard | X870E, e.g. Asus ROG Strix X870E-E | $394 | €380* |
| Memory | 32GB DDR5-6000 (64GB adds about $450 / €480) | $450 | €447 |
| Storage | 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD | $351 | €309 |
| Power supply | 1000W 80+ Gold, ATX 3.1 | $145 | €150* |
| Case | Full-size airflow case, e.g. Fractal Design North XL | $194 | €180* |
| Cooler | 360mm liquid cooler | $100 | €100* |
| Total | about $7,100 | about €8,650 |
High-end build: about $3,400 / €3,300
For 1440p at maximum settings with ray tracing, or 4K with DLSS upscaling. This is the build we would buy for Squadron 42 and Final Fantasy VII Revelation, and the realistic choice for GTA 6 if you do not need 4K.
| Part | Pick | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 16GB | $1,650 | €1,680 |
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D | $449 | €395 |
| Motherboard | B850, e.g. MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk MAX WiFi | $210 | €200* |
| Memory | 32GB DDR5-6000 | $450 | €447 |
| Storage | 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD | $351 | €309 |
| Power supply | 850W 80+ Gold, ATX 3.1 | $73 | €95* |
| Case | Mid-tower airflow case | $124 | €110* |
| Cooler | 360mm liquid cooler | $80 | €80* |
| Total | about $3,400 | about €3,300 |
1440p High build: about $2,400 / €2,350
The best value for 2027. It beats the recommended specs for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Lords of the Fallen II, and handles most new games at 1440p and high settings. The Radeon RX 9070 XT costs far less than Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti right now for similar speed. If you prefer Nvidia for DLSS, the RTX 5070 Ti adds about $340 / €350.
| Part | Pick | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB (or RTX 5070 Ti) | $849 | €800 |
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | $337 | €350 |
| Motherboard | B850 ATX board | $210 | €200* |
| Memory | 32GB DDR5-6000 | $450 | €447 |
| Storage | 2TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD | $351 | €309 |
| Power supply | 850W 80+ Gold | $73 | €95* |
| Case | Mid-tower case, e.g. Montech TG3 | $69 | €70* |
| Cooler | 360mm liquid cooler | $80 | €80* |
| Total | about $2,400 | about €2,350 |
Mid-range build: about $1,900 / €1,900
For 1080p at high settings and 1440p with upscaling. The 16GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti matters: 8GB cards are already running out of video memory in new games.
| Part | Pick | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB | $789 | €715 |
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D (Ryzen 5 7500X3D in Europe) | $230 | €245 |
| Motherboard | B650 board | $165 | €150* |
| Memory | 32GB DDR5 | $399 | €447 |
| Storage | 1TB NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD | $149 | €144 |
| Power supply | 750W 80+ Gold | $60 | €75* |
| Case | Mid-tower case | $69 | €70* |
| Cooler | Tower air cooler | $40 | €40* |
| Total | about $1,900 | about €1,900 |
Entry 1080p build: about $1,300 / €1,200
The cheapest new build we would recommend for 2027 games. It meets Fable’s recommended specs, but plan to use upscaling in the most demanding games.
| Part | Pick | USD | EUR |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 8GB | $470 | €379 |
| Processor | AMD Ryzen 5 7500F | $140* | €134 |

| Memory | 16GB DDR5 (upgrade to 32GB when prices fall) | $258 | €240* |
| Storage | 1TB NVMe SSD | $149 | €144 |
| Power supply | 650W 80+ Bronze or better | $60 | €65* |
| Case | Budget airflow case | $60 | €60* |
| Cooler | Budget tower cooler | $25 | €25* |
| Total | about $1,300 | about €1,200 |

1. Grand Theft Auto VI: the most expensive PC to max out

Release: November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC version not yet announced.
Developer: Rockstar Games
GTA 6 is the biggest game release in years, but PC players will have to wait. Rockstar has only confirmed the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. Take-Two’s chief executive has said its games eventually come to all platforms, and GamesBeat reported, citing four unnamed sources, that the PC version could arrive in the first quarter of 2027. Neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has confirmed that, and no official GTA 6 PC system requirements exist yet.
What we can work from: the PS5’s graphics chip is roughly equal to a Radeon RX 6700 on PC, and GTA 6 is built around that console. Rockstar’s past PC versions have added higher detail settings, longer draw distances and uncapped frame rates, so running GTA 6 at 60fps or more on PC at high settings will need much more power than a console.
| GTA 6 PC specs (Expected) | Minimum, 1080p | Recommended, 1440p 60fps | Ultra, 4K |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | RTX 3060 12GB / RX 6700 XT | RTX 5070 Ti / RX 9070 XT | RTX 5090 |
| Processor | Ryzen 5 5600 / Core i5-12400 | Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Ryzen 7 9800X3D |
| Memory | 16GB | 32GB | 32 to 64GB |
| Storage | NVMe SSD, at least 150GB free (our estimate) |
Our estimate only. Rockstar has not published GTA 6 PC requirements.
Build we recommend: the Ultra 4K build at about $7,100 / €8,650 if you want GTA 6 at 4K with every setting maxed. For 1440p at high settings, the High-end build at about $3,400 / €3,300 is the smarter buy. Our advice is not to buy anything for GTA 6 until Rockstar announces the PC version and its real requirements.
Watch: Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2, Rockstar Games.
2. Metro 2039: ray tracing required

Release: February 4, 2027 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
Developer: 4A Games
The next chapter of the post-apocalyptic shooter series returns to the tunnels under Moscow. The key fact for PC gamers: 4A Games confirmed that Metro 2039 will require a ray tracing capable graphics card. That rules out cards like the GTX 1080 and GTX 1660, and AMD cards older than the RX 6000 series.
Requirements briefly appeared on Steam with a recommended RTX 4090 and 64GB of RAM, but 4A Games said those were placeholders and “absolutely not correct”. Official specs are due closer to launch.
| Metro 2039 PC specs | Minimum (Steam placeholder) | Recommended (Steam placeholder) |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | RTX 3060 | RTX 4090 |
| Processor | Core i5-14600K / Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Core i9-14900KS / Ryzen 9 7950X3D |
| Memory | 16GB | 64GB |
| Storage | 135GB | 135GB |
| Confirmed | Ray tracing graphics card required |
Build we recommend: the Ultra 4K build at about $7,100 / €8,650 for 4K with full ray tracing, since ray tracing is always on and heavy at high resolutions. At 1440p, the 1440p High build should be enough once official specs confirm a lower recommended card. 4A’s previous game, Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, also needed ray tracing and ran well on mid-range Nvidia cards.

3. Squadron 42: a big single-player space epic

Release: Q2 2027 on PC (Steam)
Developer: Cloud Imperium Games
The single-player campaign set in the Star Citizen universe has been in development for well over a decade and finally has a Steam page and a release window. It was planned for 2026 but was delayed to avoid launching against GTA 6. Its published PC requirements are a minimum, not a recommendation.
| Squadron 42 PC specs | Minimum (Official) |
|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 11 |
| Processor | Quad-core Intel Core i7 (Sandy Bridge or later) or AMD Bulldozer or later |
| Memory | 16GB |
| Graphics card | DirectX 11.1 compatible with 8GB of video memory |
| Storage | 150GB |
| DirectX | Version 12 |
Build we recommend: the High-end build at about $3,400 / €3,300. Squadron 42 runs on the same engine as Star Citizen, which is famously demanding on the processor, memory and storage speed. That is why we pair the RTX 5080 with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and treat 32GB of RAM and a fast NVMe SSD as essential rather than optional.

4. Final Fantasy VII Revelation: clear 200GB first

Release: April 8, 2027 on PC, PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2
Developer: Square Enix
The final part of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy launches on PC on the same day as consoles. Director Naoki Hamaguchi has confirmed the game needs about 200GB of storage, up from roughly 155GB for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Square Enix has not yet published PC hardware requirements. Rebirth’s PC specs are the best guide to what Revelation will need:
| FF7 Rebirth PC specs (guide) | Minimum, 1080p 30fps | Recommended, 1080p 60fps | High, 4K 60fps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | RTX 2060 / RX 6600 / Arc A580 | RTX 2070 / RX 6700 XT | RTX 4080 / RX 7900 XTX |
| Processor | Ryzen 5 1400 / Core i3-8100 | Ryzen 5 5600 / Core i7-8700 | Ryzen 7 5700X / Core i7-10700 |
| Memory | 16GB | 16GB | 16GB |
| Storage | 155GB SSD for Rebirth. About 200GB confirmed for Revelation |
Build we recommend: the High-end build at about $3,400 / €3,300. Rebirth needed an RTX 4080 for 4K at 60fps, and the RTX 5080 is a step up from that. If 1440p is enough for you, the 1440p High build will do, but either way keep 200GB free on an SSD.

5. Exodus: the new sci-fi RPG to watch

Release: April 7, 2027 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
Developer: Archetype Entertainment
Exodus is a story-driven sci-fi action RPG from a studio led by veterans of BioWare, the team behind Mass Effect. PC requirements have not been announced. Because it skips older consoles and targets only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, expect current-generation requirements.
| Exodus PC specs (Expected) | Minimum, 1080p | Recommended, 1440p |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | RTX 3060 / RX 6600 XT | RTX 5070 / RX 9070 |
| Processor | Ryzen 5 3600 / Core i5-10400 | Ryzen 7 5800X3D / Core i7-12700 |
| Memory | 16GB | 32GB |
| Storage | NVMe SSD recommended |
Our estimate only. Archetype Entertainment has not published PC requirements.
Build we recommend: the 1440p High build at about $2,400 / €2,350, which leaves headroom if the official specs come in higher than expected.
Watch: EXODUS Official Release Date Trailer, official Exodus channel.
6. Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis

Release: February 12, 2027 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2
Lara Croft’s 1996 debut is being rebuilt from the ground up as a full reimagining of the original game. Its official PC requirements are out, along with the confirmation that the PC version uses Denuvo anti-tamper protection. The publisher has not said which resolution or frame rate the specs target.
| Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis PC specs (Official) | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Windows 10/11 64-bit |
| Processor | Core i5-8600 / Ryzen 5 3600 | Core i7-9700K / Ryzen 5 5600X |
| Memory | 16GB | 16GB |
| Graphics card | GTX 1070 8GB / RTX 2060 Super / RX 5700 | RTX 3080 / RX 6800 XT |
| Storage | 80GB | 80GB |
Build we recommend: the 1440p High build at about $2,400 / €2,350. The RX 9070 XT is clearly faster than the recommended RTX 3080 and RX 6800 XT, so you have room for higher settings or a 1440p high refresh rate monitor.
Watch: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Official ‘Enemies of Egypt’ Overview Trailer, via IGN.
7. Lords of the Fallen II

Release: Q1 2027 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version also announced
Developer: Hexworks / CI Games
The sequel to the 2023 soulslike was delayed from 2026 into early 2027, partly to avoid the GTA 6 launch. On PC it launches on Steam and the Epic Games Store. CI Games has published official PC requirements, but has not said which resolution or frame rate they target.
| Lords of the Fallen II PC specs (Official) | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Core i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 2600 | Core i7-8700 / Ryzen 5 3600 |
| Memory | 12GB | 16GB |
| Graphics card | RTX 2060 / RX 5700 | RTX 3080 / RX 6800 XT |
Build we recommend: the 1440p High build at about $2,400 / €2,350. The processor requirement is modest, but the recommended RTX 3080 shows the graphics will be heavy, so the GPU is where to spend.
Watch: Lords of the Fallen II, Official Announcement Trailer, CI Games.

8. Kingdom Hearts IV

Release: Late 2027 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store), PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2
Developer: Square Enix
Square Enix confirmed a late 2027 release at the D23 2026 showcase, along with a new world based on Pixar’s Coco, and has said the game is not being delayed beyond 2027. No PC requirements yet. Because the game also runs on Nintendo Switch 2, it has to scale down to modest hardware, so expect reasonable PC requirements.
| Kingdom Hearts IV PC specs (Expected) | Minimum, 1080p | Recommended, 1440p |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | GTX 1660 Super / RX 5600 XT | RTX 4060 Ti / RX 7700 XT |
| Processor | Ryzen 5 3600 / Core i5-10400 | Ryzen 5 7600 / Core i5-13400 |
| Memory | 16GB | 16GB |
Our estimate only. Square Enix has not published PC requirements.
Build we recommend: the Mid-range build at about $1,900 / €1,900, which should run it at high settings at 1080p and 1440p.
Watch: KINGDOM HEARTS IV, Extended D23 2026 Coco Trailer, official Kingdom Hearts channel.
9. Resident Evil Veronica

Release: 2027 on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2
Developer: Capcom
Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica brings Claire Redfield back in Capcom’s RE Engine. Capcom has given a 2027 window but no exact date or PC specs. Capcom’s RE Engine remakes have been among the best-optimised PC games of recent years. The Resident Evil 4 remake recommended only a GTX 1070, or an RTX 2070 with ray tracing, for 1080p at 60fps.
| Resident Evil 4 remake PC specs (guide) | Minimum, 1080p 60fps | Recommended, 1080p 60fps | Ray tracing recommended |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | GTX 1050 Ti / RX 560 | GTX 1070 / RX 5700 | RTX 2070 / RX 6700 XT |
| Processor | Core i5-7500 / Ryzen 3 1200 | Core i7-8700 / Ryzen 5 3600 | Core i7-8700 / Ryzen 5 3600 |
| Memory | 8GB | 16GB | 16GB |
Build we recommend: the Mid-range build at about $1,900 / €1,900. A newer remake will need more than Resident Evil 4, but the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB has plenty of headroom, including for ray tracing at 1080p.
Watch: Resident Evil Veronica, Official Reveal Trailer (4K), via IGN.
10. Fable: the most PC-friendly game on the list

Release: February 23, 2027 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S
Developer: Playground Games
The return of Fable, from the studio behind Forza Horizon, was delayed from 2026 to February 2027 and launches on PlayStation 5 on day one as well as Xbox and PC. Its official PC specs are the easiest on this list, because the game is built to run on the Xbox Series S.
| Fable PC specs (Official) | Minimum, 1080p 30fps | Recommended, 1440p 30fps or 1200p 60fps |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Ryzen 5 2600 / Core i7-6850K | Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel equivalent |
| Graphics card | RTX 2060 or RTX 5050 / RX 6600 / Arc A580 | RTX 5060 or RTX 3060 Ti / RX 9060 XT or RX 6700 XT |
Build we recommend: the Entry 1080p build at about $1,300 / €1,200. Its RTX 5060 and Ryzen 5 7500F meet the recommended specs exactly. If you already own an RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT, you don’t need to upgrade at all for Fable.

Why gaming PCs cost more in 2027
If these prices look high, they are. Two things have pushed up the cost of building a gaming PC:
- Memory prices. Demand from AI data centres has created a global shortage of memory chips. A 32GB DDR5-6000 kit now costs around $450 in the US and from €447 in Germany, more than five times what it cost in mid-2025. SSD prices have more than doubled over the same period.
- Graphics card prices. The same memory shortage, plus strong demand, means most graphics cards sell well above their launch prices. The RTX 5090 launched at $1,999 and now sells for between about $3,500 and $7,200 new in the US, and from €6,699 in Germany.

Lowest new US price in October 2026 compared with launch price (MSRP). AMD’s Radeon cards have risen the least, which is why we pick the RX 9070 XT for the 1440p build. Source: ComputingForGeeks.
How to save money on your 2027 gaming setup
Don’t buy for a game that isn’t out yet
Prices for graphics cards and memory change every month, and official specs for GTA 6, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, Exodus, Kingdom Hearts IV and Resident Evil Veronica are not out yet. Buy when you are ready to play.
Pick AMD for value right now
The Radeon RX 9070 XT sells much closer to its launch price than Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti while performing similarly in most games. For a pure gaming PC, it is the best value graphics card of late 2026.
Buy a used graphics card carefully
A used RTX 3080, RTX 4070 or RX 6800 XT still meets the recommended specs for Tomb Raider and Lords of the Fallen II. Test the card before you pay, and follow our guide to avoiding classified ad scams.
Keep your current processor if it is recent
A Ryzen 5 5600 or Core i5-12400 still meets most recommended specs on this list. Spend the money on the graphics card first.
Turn on upscaling
DLSS on Nvidia and FSR on AMD can raise frame rates by 30% or more with little loss in image quality. They are the cheapest performance upgrade there is.
Plan storage for 2027 sizes
Final Fantasy VII Revelation alone needs about 200GB, Squadron 42 needs 150GB and Tomb Raider needs 80GB. A 2TB NVMe SSD is the sensible minimum for a 2027 gaming library.
Compare your graphics card with the recommended column in each table above. If yours is at least as fast, you probably only need more RAM or a bigger SSD, not a new PC.
The rest of your setup: monitor, storage and peripherals
A gaming PC setup is more than the tower. Match your monitor to your build, or you will pay for performance you never see:
| Build | Best monitor match | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Ultra 4K | 27 to 32 inch 4K, 144Hz or faster, OLED if budget allows | The RTX 5090 is wasted below 4K in most games |
| High-end | 27 inch 1440p, 240Hz, or 4K at 144Hz with DLSS | Room for high frame rates with ray tracing on |
| 1440p High | 27 inch 1440p, 144 to 180Hz | The best balance of sharpness and speed |
| Mid-range | 24 or 27 inch, 1080p or 1440p, 144Hz | 1440p works well with upscaling |
| Entry 1080p | 24 inch 1080p, 144Hz | Keeps frame rates high in demanding games |
Use a wired Ethernet connection for online games if you can. A good mechanical keyboard, a light mouse and a wired headset matter more for day-to-day comfort than any extra frame rate.

Frequently asked questions
What PC specs do I need for gaming in 2027?
For most 2027 games at 1440p and high settings, aim for a Radeon RX 9070 XT or RTX 5070 Ti, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or 9800X3D, 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB NVMe SSD. That build costs about $2,400 / €2,350 at October 2026 prices. For 1080p, an RTX 5060 with 16GB of RAM meets the recommended specs of games like Fable.
Will GTA 6 come out on PC?
Rockstar has not announced a PC version. GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. GamesBeat reported, citing unnamed sources, that a PC version could follow in the first quarter of 2027, but this is not confirmed. Rockstar has also not published any GTA 6 PC requirements.
How much does a good gaming PC cost in 2027?
At October 2026 prices, expect about $1,300 / €1,200 for a 1080p build, $1,900 / €1,900 for a mid-range build, $2,400 / €2,350 for a strong 1440p build, $3,400 / €3,300 for a high-end build and about $7,100 / €8,650 for an RTX 5090 4K build. Prices are higher than usual because of a global memory shortage.
Is 16GB of RAM enough for gaming in 2027?
It is the minimum. Fable, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Squadron 42 all list 16GB, and Lords of the Fallen II lists 12GB as its minimum. For a PC you plan to keep for several years, 32GB is the safer choice.
Do I need a ray tracing graphics card in 2027?
For Metro 2039, yes. 4A Games has confirmed the game requires a ray tracing capable card. Any Nvidia RTX card or AMD Radeon RX 6000 card or newer supports ray tracing.
What is the best graphics card for 1440p gaming in 2027?
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is the best value at the moment, selling for around $790 to $850 in the US and about €800 in Germany. The Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti is similar in speed and adds DLSS, but costs about $1,190 / €1,150.
How much storage do 2027 games need?
Final Fantasy VII Revelation needs about 200GB, Squadron 42 needs 150GB and Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis needs 80GB. A 2TB NVMe SSD is the sensible minimum for a gaming PC in 2027.
Should I build a PC now or wait?
If you want to play GTA 6 on PC, wait until Rockstar announces the PC version and its requirements. If you want to play February 2027 releases like Metro 2039, Tomb Raider or Fable, check their official specs first, then buy the build that matches. Memory prices are not expected to fall quickly.
