Delete your account

You can permanently delete your List It Global account, your advertisements and your messages at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and what is kept.

Delete from the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open the List It Global app and sign in.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Scroll to Privacy and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm when prompted. You will be asked for your password, or to type DELETE if you signed in with Google or Apple.

Delete from the website

  1. Sign in at listitglobal.com.
  2. Open your account panel and go to Settings.
  3. Choose the option to delete your account and confirm.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@listitglobal.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify the request and confirm once it is done, normally within 30 days and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

  • Your account, name, email address and phone number
  • Your profile photo and any profile details
  • All of your advertisements, including their photos
  • Your messages and conversations
  • Saved advertisements and saved searches
  • Notification history and any registered devices
  • Sign-in tokens, which ends all sessions on every device

What is kept, and why

We keep an anonymised record that an account was deleted, and the date. It contains no personal data and cannot be linked back to you. It exists so we can demonstrate that deletion requests are honoured.

Where the law requires it, we may retain limited records relating to fraud, safety or tax obligations for as long as we are obliged to.

Deactivate instead

If you only want a break, choose Deactivate account instead. Your advertisements are hidden and your account is paused, and signing in again restores everything. Deactivation is reversible; deletion is not.

This cannot be undone

Once your account is deleted it cannot be recovered, and neither can your advertisements or messages. If you want a copy of your data first, use Download my data in the app under Account → Privacy before you delete.
